Wesley Street Refill Shop

OmNom Zero Waste opened on Wesley Street, Southport in January 2019.

We were one of the first refill shops to open in Merseyside starting with over 70 products in our refill range. The mission was to enable people to reduce unnecessary packaging waste, reduce food waste by buying what you need, and improve wellbeing through nutrition. As a food shop with environmental sustainability and community health outcomes at its core; choosing to support organic growers was essential from day one. In our first year we were listed as one of the best zero waste shops in the UK by the Telegraph and in 2022 we were the finalist in the Reshaping Business category of the Southport Star Awards for our commitment to supporting the community during the Lockdown Years. 

In addition to what’s available through our website, the shop on Wesley Street now has over 100 products on refill. This means you can bring any clean, dry and empty container into the shop and buy just the amounts you need - significantly reducing your individual or family packaging waste and working to your own budget.

Our current food and drink refill range includes:

Organic nuts, seeds, flours, sugars, dried fruit, oats and muesli, lentils, dried beans, pasta, rice, grains, herbs and spices. We also stock a growing selection of organic loose leaf tea.

The non-food refill range includes:
Laundry liquid, washing up liquid, fabric conditioner and toilet cleaner as well as body care products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash.

Wesley Street is located between Eastbank Street and Tulketh Street in Southport town centre. It is a 3-5 minute walk from Southport Station and Lord Street bus stops. There are also 3 car parks available on Tulketh Street.

The shop is open Tuesday to Friday 10.00-5.00pm. We are closed at the weekend.
